Sugar Cookie Dough / Chocolate Chip Dough

Ingredients

Margarine or butter - 2.25 cups

Granulated Sugar - 2.25 cups

Eggs - 2 cups

Vanilla - 1.5 TBS

Flour all purpose -10 cups

Salt - 2TSP

Baking Powder - 1.5 TBS

Chocolate Chips, smarties, candy canes - ½ pound

Directions

Cream Butter and sugar together for 5 minutes at medium speed

Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture, blend for 2 minutes more at medium speed

Sift together flour and baking powder, Add to creamed mixture while mixing on low speed

Dust table surface with flour, roll out.

 Cut into desired shapes place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 F for 9 minutes

Variations

Add 1 pound chocolate chips or skor chips,smarties.
